Sophos antivirus can run on both Intel-based and PowerPC-based
Macintosh computers. You can use your licensed version or you can try a
trial version.
- Install your licensed version
- If you don't have licensed version, follow the steps below
- Go to the
Sophos page
- Click on "Try now for free!" button, register and wait for an email.
- Click on link in email (https://secure.sophos.com/support/updates/mac.html)
- Download SAV7 or SAV49 for standalone computer
- Install dmg package
- Enter username and password for updating (also in email) and try to update.
- Enable Sophos plugin in KMS
- Sophos Antivirus should now be working properly and scanning your incoming and outgoing email!
Warning:
If you configure Sophos Antivirus to scan your system, you must exclude the Kerio Connect directory.
