Emails Dated 2010 are marked as SPAM
Solution Problem:

SpamAssassin 3.2.5 used in Kerio MailServer's Spam Filter contains a bug causing that all emails sent in year 2010 may get additional 3.188 spam score points. This could lead to marking regular messages as a spam (or blocking the message by the server).

The Kerio MailServer 6.7.3 Patch 1 Fixes this issue. Please upgrade to this version.

More details can be found at https://issues.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=6269

Solution:
1. Edit the plugins/spamassassin/rules/72_active.cf file in KMS installation and change the following line:

original line: header FH_DATE_PAST_20XX Date =~ /20[1-9][0-9]/ [if-unset: 2006]
modified line: header FH_DATE_PAST_20XX Date =~ /20[2-9][0-9]/ [if-unset: 2006]

2. Restart the Kerio MailServer.

File paths:
- Linux: /opt/kerio/mailserver/plugins/spamassassin/rules/72_active.c f
- Mac OS X: /usr/local/kerio/mailserver/plugins/spamassassin/rules/72_ac tive.cf
- Windows: c:\Program Files\Kerio\MailServer\plugins/spamassassin/rules/72_active. cf

The configuration file can be edited by any text editor. On Linux and Mac OS X running the editor with 'root' privileges is required.

Temporary workaround:
As an immediate workaround please create a new custom spam rule which will decrease the spam score by -3.2 points for every message containing Received header with substring "2010". See the screenshot:

index.php?t=getfile&id=1762&private=0

Please note, the workaround has to be removed once the issue is fixed (either by modifying the configuration file or Kerio MailServer upgrade)!

Affected versions:
Kerio Connect 7.0 beta, Kerio MailServer 6.7.3 and older

The fix is highly recommended to all KerioMailServer customers running any KerioMailServer version and using Spam Filter for spam classification !

 http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/spamassassin/rules/branches/3.2 /72_active.cf?r1=758225&r2=895073&pathrev=895073

We also strongly recommend that you upgrade to the newest version of KerioMailServer.
