Solution

To install NOD32 LMS (Linux):

Note: NOD32 LMS 2.50 is supported in Kerio MailSever 6.1.2 and above. If your Kerio MailServer is older than this, please upgrade before installing NOD32 LMS.

  1. Download NOD32 LMS 2.50 and higher. Make sure that you choose the version that's right for your language and Operating System.
  2. From the command line, run the script: /bin/sh nod32ls-*.bin
  3. Press Enter and read the End user license agreement
  4. If you agree with the End user license agreement, press Y followed by Enter
  5. In the current folder one of the standard rpm, deb, or tgz installation packages will be created which can be installed as usual
  6. Before proceeding with the package installation, ensure that a valid license key provided by Eset is present in the /etc/nod32/license folder (or /etc/opt/eset/nod32/license in the case of RedHat Ready or SuSE Ready).
  7. Install NOD32 LMS rpm package.
  8. Open the Kerio Administration Console and connect to Kerio MailServer.
  9. Go to Configuration->Antivirus.
  10. Enable option “Use external antivirus” (near the top).
  11. Choose "NOD32 for Linux."
  12. Click on “Options” and check the path to NOD32 library, license file and temp directory.
  13. Click OK in all the dialog boxes.
  14. Click "Apply" (near the bottom) to save settings.

NOD32 should now be working properly and scanning your incoming and outgoing email!
